ROLE

As an Operations Manager at Tree Traction, your mission is to streamline and optimize business operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and scalability. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building systems, managing processes, and driving execution to keep the company running smoothly.

You will oversee hiring, automation, KPI tracking, and process optimization, ensuring high performance and profitability across all areas of the business. Your role is critical in making sure every department functions seamlessly, keeping the team aligned and accountable.

Success in this role depends on your ability to systematize and scale. You will take ownership of operational workflows, reporting structures, and performance tracking, ensuring that Tree Traction continues to grow effectively and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operations & Systems Optimization

  • Automate and improve workflows in Airtable, HighLevel, and Google Sheets.

  • Develop KPI dashboards to track business performance and profitability.

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements.

2. Hiring & Team Management

  • Oversee the hiring funnel, from job postings to applicant screening and onboarding.

  • Develop structured hiring, training, and performance tracking systems.

  • Ensure team accountability and alignment with company goals.

3. Execution & Project Management

  • Ensure smooth execution of key projects and business initiatives.

  • Use ClickUp or similar tools to track project progress, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Work with leadership to prioritize and execute strategic growth initiatives.

4. KPI Tracking & Profitability Management

  • Maintain company-wide KPI dashboards for data-driven decision-making.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to optimize profitability and efficiency.

  • Implement clear reporting structures for leadership insights.

5. Scaling & EOS Implementation

  • Lead EOS implementation, ensuring structured team meetings and accountability.

  • Maintain a rhythm of meetings and reporting to align the team with company objectives.

  • Continually seek ways to optimize and scale the business through better systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-7+ years of experience in operations, project management, or business management (marketing agency or high-growth startup experience is a plus).

  • Experience optimizing systems, processes, and workflows in a fast-moving business.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Tech-savvy, with experience in Airtable, HighLevel, ClickUp, and Google Sheets.

  • Data-driven mindset—able to track KPIs, manage budgets, and make informed decisions.

  • Highly organized and proactive, able to execute without micromanagement.

  • Prior experience with EOS (Traction) is a major plus.

WORK HOURS

Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM MST (~40 hours/week). Must be flexible to work occasional additional hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education relevant to business administration, operations, or entrepreneurship.

  • Experience implementing EOS.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive monthly base salary based on experience and working location.
